Ways to cut hair by yourself?!?!?

I have long hair and all I want to do is cut the ends of my hair. Does anyone have any tips or know how to do this easily and straight?

well, i do this alot, and also to trim my bangs. getting it wet helps a ton. get a sharp pair od siccors. be careful at what angle you cut it at, becuase you can damage your hair. get a good mirror and a good bright place to do it. you can ask someone to help you keep it even in the back, or i find pulling it all into a ponytail also works well. good luck!

with scissors i used to do it when i was 12 and nobody could really tell sometimes one time i made a big mistake and had to cut my hair very very short almost bald

You have to be careful in the angle you cut it, but you can twist your hair as tight as you can get it and cut it straight across. This will make all of your hair straight. Of course I have only done this with my bangs. I don't think it will work with the rest of your hair because, well one it is in the back of your head and you can't see the angle you are cutting it at, and 2 you are supposed to get small parts of you hair and twist you, not one large chunk, it would be hard to cut that way anyway. My best suggestion is have a beauty shop do it, that way if you aren't happy with it you can get your money back.
